Subaru Is Making Reliable Vehicles According to J.D. Power’s 2023 Initial Quality Study

According to the latest J.D. Power 2023 Initial Quality Study (IQS), Subaru’s rankings are above average. Subaru has a brand-new automobile that was picked among the top three vehicles in its segment.

 

Scoring

The J.D. Power IQS study only considers the first 90 days of vehicle ownership.  J.D. Power looks at specialized infotainment and new technology with which new owners want to become better acquainted. The IQS isn’t always a long-term study of quality issues with the automakers and their particular models.

 

Ranking 

Subaru scored 185/PP100 this year, up from 191/PP100 in 2022. Subaru is now above the industry average of 192/PP100. Subaru is now the seventh-ranked mainstream brand.

 

J.D. Power 2023 IQS

J.D. Power asked owners 223 questions based on nine automobile categories, infotainment, features, controls and displays, exterior, driving assistance, interior, powertrain, seats, driving experience, and climate control. The Subaru Forester rankings are top ranking. Subaru scored one of its models in J.D. Powers’ superb three models per segment. The 2023 Subaru Forester is one of the top three models withinside the Compact SUV segment. Subaru’s scores are up from previous years, even as most automaker automobiles have grown to be more problematic. The 2023 Forester comes in six trim levels: 

  • Base Forester starts at $27,620 (plus destination fee)
  • Premium starts at $30,620 (plus destination fee)
  • Sports trim starts at $32,190 (plus destination fee)
  • Limited starts at $34,300 (plus destination fee)
  • Wilderness trim begins at $35,245 (plus destination fee) 
  • Touring starts at $37,720 ( plus destination fee)

 

The latest Consumer Reports study recommends ten new models, and the 2023 Subaru Forester ranks as the most dependable and fuel-economical new SUV that can be purchased this year. Consumer Reports compiled the compact SUVs that scored nicely in their road tests having average-or-better predicted reliability ratings and getting 28 mpg average or better. The 2023 Subaru Forester is now ranked first-class withinside the compact segment and the least problematic Subaru all-wheel-drive automobile for customers in the first 90 days of ownership. This new rating indicates how much Subaru has worked on making its automobiles first-class for its customers.
